Your body has the answers; acupuncture simply unlocks them.

Patient wellness is paramount. We combine acupuncture with a holistic and integrated approach to medicine to aid in healing the mind and body. We look at the overall health of the patient. Herbal medicine and dietary therapy are potent tools for improving both. They complement conventional treatments, offering a natural and effective alternative for many conditions.

How It Helps!

Acupuncture, an integral part of traditional Chinese medicine, offers a holistic approach to health and wellness by stimulating specific points on the body using fine needles. This ancient practice aims to balance the body's energy flow, known as Qi, to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. Whether seeking relief from chronic conditions, managing acute symptoms, or enhancing overall vitality, our acupuncture services provide a personalized, gentle, and effective treatment tailored to individual needs. With a focus on promoting natural healing, our experienced practitioners ensure a serene and supportive environment, fostering both physical and emotional health.

Acupuncture promotes wellness and can assist in the healing of many disorders.

The National Institute of Health and the World Health Organization recognizes the efficacy of acupuncture for the treatment of 117 conditions.

Our Services

Getting Ready

If this is your first appointment, you can fill out some paperwork online.  Check your confirmation e-mail for access to the forms.  Or, you can arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the forms when you arrive.

Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing.  There are acupuncture points all over the body, so we may need to access points (for example) above the knee or on the upper back.  Racer back tank tops, shorts, wide-legged pants, and stretchy pants can help.

Consultations

For shorter consultations, we’ll focus on adjustments to your treatment plan to ensure it aligns with your evolving needs and symptoms.

This is where we look to suggest tweaks to their current programs and also alternative tests and methods [Ex. If vitamin D intake is not producing results one may test for a genetic defect that may mean the body is not as efficient in absorbing vitamin D and higher dosages may be suggested.]

Customized Treatments

During each visit, we will talk about the issues you are experiencing at the time of treatment.  I’ll listen to what you have to say and then craft a treatment plan specifically for you—based on my extensive training as well as the latest research, real-world data, clinical experience and thousands of years of empirical (observed) data.

Acupuncture Doesn’t Cure Everything.  I wish I could say it does, but that simply isn’t true.  At Pure Point Acupuncture, I will be upfront about what this medicine can do for you, and what is outside of its reach.  Each person responds differently and therefore treatment results may vary.
